Individual Counseling (via Telehealth)
I am experienced in supporting individuals working on anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and concerns related to gender and sexuality. In addition, I support people with goals ranging from improving habits to exploring life meaning and purpose.
Couples Counseling (via Telehealth)
I work with couples on improving connection and healing conflict in intimate relationships. I am comfortable working with partners of any gender identity or sexuality including polyamorous relationships.
I intend to offer small group therapy in order to provide more affordable services to the community. Group counseling provides unique opportunities for healing and change that are different than those in individual therapy. Please let me know if you are interested and I will send you information when I begin to run a group.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling degree with a concentration in clinical mental health from the University of Southern Maine in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the state of Maine by the Board of Counseling Professionals. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and subscribe to the ACA code of Ethics.
I have experience working with adults on concerns related to anxiety, fears, depression, grief, loneliness, relationships, life transitions, anger, boredom, boundaries, sobriety, gender identity, sexuality, life meaning, decision-making, trauma, and self-esteem.
I completed my clinical internship with the Gestalt-Experiential Therapy of Maine (GETME) learning about experiential and emotion-focused therapy and I continue to receive supervision and training from GETME in emotion-focused and humanistic therapy.
have also had nine years of experience in helping roles as a Personal Care Attendant, Crisis Stabilization Counselor, Counseling Intern, Caseworker, and volunteer with the Trevor Project.
I have a strong interest in other people and a deep commitment to this work which I find immensely meaningful, exciting, and worthwhile.
